In progress: This permanent residence is designed for the highest bushfire risk of BAL-Flame Zone as well as the most extreme cyclonic wind conditions (C4). Sited in a rich ecological community of banskia and eucalyptus forest, this home prioritises landscape conservation above unnecessary clearing to facilitate bushifre risk mitigation. Structural fire engineering principles have been applied (along with the relevant standards) to achieve novel, performance-based solutions, to facilitate maximum connectivity between the residents and their exceptional landscape.
